🌿 My Wellness Story: From Frustration to Flow

My yoga journey didn’t begin on a mat—it started from the inside out. I was drawn to yoga for its promise of peace, but every time I tried it, I felt like I didn’t belong. I wasn’t flexible, I couldn’t quiet my mind, and honestly, I decided I “sucked” at it. Still, something deep within me kept pulling me back.

In the midst of a stressful, demanding life, I couldn’t ignore the quiet truth: yoga had something I needed. The calm, the breath, the space to just be. But I never quite found the right class or teacher that made me feel safe, seen, or successful.

So I became that teacher—for myself and for others.

I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training, followed by specialized training in Yin, Meditation, Chair Yoga, and Yoga Nidra. I’m still learning, still evolving, still deeply passionate about holding space for others—especially those who think yoga isn’t for them.

Today, I offer gentle, chair, and restorative yoga practices and support in a non-judgmental environment that leaves no one behind. Whether you're brand new or coming back after a break, you are welcome here.

What kind of Yoga is Zen with Jen?

I have training/certificates in Gentle Flow Yoga, Yin Yoga, Meditation, Chair Yoga, and Yoga Nidra. Something for Everyone.

Can I still do Yoga if I have a physical limitation or injury?

Absolutely!


Yoga is for Everyone, to be inclusive and adaptable for all.


If you have a physical limitation or injury, we recommend that you consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new exercise regimen.


During the course, we'll provide modifications and alternatives for each pose to ensure that everyone can participate safely and comfortably. Remember, yoga is not about pushing your limits, but about finding balance and harmony within your own body.


So, listen to your body, respect its limits, and enjoy the journey at your own pace.
